Ava Sarubbi, Intake Coordinator, Intern

Hi, my name is Ava Sarubbi, and I am a psychology intern at Knew You Psychotherapy. As the intake coordinator, I am responsible for ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care and support. 

I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Mercy College, where I have completed courses such as abnormal psychology, psychology of personality, and developmental psychology. Through my coursework, I have gained a deep understanding of mental health issues and the various approaches used in psychotherapy. 

At Knew You Psychotherapy, I have the opportunity to put my knowledge and skills into practice through assisting intake assessments, scheduling appointments, and providing clients with information about our services. I am extremely passionate about helping people overcome their challenges and live their lives to the fullest potential. 

In addition to my internship, I have volunteered many times for different health care facilities where I gained experience in crisis intervention and social work. I have also participated in various community service projects and organizations throughout my college years.
