Telehealth therapy for driven professionals navigating burnout, perfectionism, and the quiet anxiety that follows every achievement.
No forms. No waitlist. A real conversation with Kiara.

High achievers rarely come to therapy because things are falling apart. They come because they’ve gotten very good at holding things together, and they’re exhausted from it.
I can deliver under any pressure at work, but in my personal life I shut down or overreact. I don't understand why.
I hit the goal, got the promotion, moved to the next thing. The satisfaction lasts about a week. I'm starting to wonder what I'm actually working toward.
I look capable from the outside. Inside I'm running on anxiety and the fear that one mistake will unravel everything.
I've been the strong one my whole life. I don't even know what it would feel like to not be managing everything.
Most high achievers don’t struggle because they lack discipline or resilience. They struggle because the strategies that built their success, vigilance, self-reliance, perfectionism, emotional control, were often learned responses to earlier experiences that no longer serve them.
The inner critic that drove you to the top is the same voice that won’t let you rest. The emotional shutdown that protected you as a child is the same pattern interrupting your relationships now.
"You cannot outperform a wound. You can only understand it."
At Knew You Psychotherapy, we work at the level where patterns actually change, not just coping strategies, but the underlying beliefs and experiences that generate the pattern in the first place.
Depth-focused therapy that respects your intelligence and takes your whole story seriously.
01
Understanding what drives you to override your own signals, and rebuilding a relationship with yourself that doesn’t require constant output to feel worthy.
02
Exploring where the standard came from, whose approval it was built around, and what it costs you to maintain it, so you can choose differently.
03
Moving from symptom management to root-level understanding: why your nervous system stays activated even when the situation doesn’t warrant it.
04
Tracing adult patterns back to their origins. Understanding the connection between early experiences and current behavior is the foundation of lasting change.
05
For the person who performs well everywhere but struggles in close relationships: understanding the gap between your professional and personal self.
06
Reconnecting with who you are beyond your accomplishments, for those who’ve achieved the goal and found themselves wondering what it was actually for.
Knew You Psychotherapy has been the ultimate game changer in my life. I came in thinking I just needed some stress management tools. I left understanding myself in a way I never had before.

My first experience in talk therapy. I was skeptical. What I didn't expect was how much was underneath, and how much lighter I felt once I started actually looking at it.

The matching process was thoughtful. Kiara took the time to actually understand what I needed before connecting me with my therapist. It made all the difference.

You cannot heal what you haven’t named. Childhood trauma is at the heart of everything we do here, not because everyone’s story is dramatic, but because the quieter experiences leave marks too. And those marks show up in our adult lives in ways we often don’t connect to their origins.
When you reach out, you’ll speak with me or an associate therapist. The consultation isn’t a formality, it’s a real conversation about your patterns, your history, and what kind of support would actually serve you. From there, I match you with the therapist whose expertise and style genuinely fit.
You don’t have to come in knowing exactly what’s wrong. You just have to be willing to look.

A note on cultural fit: Knew You Psychotherapy was intentionally built with culturally responsive care at its core. Our therapists bring diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and specialized training to supporting high-achieving BIPOC professionals navigating the intersection of ambition, identity, family expectations, and generational patterns, especially in spaces where they may not always feel fully seen or understood.
