Frequently Asked Questions

What are the steps to begin therapy at Knew You Psychotherapy?

To begin the therapeutic process at Knew You Psychotherapy, the first step is to schedule a free consultation with our intake coordinator.

During your consultation, you and the intake coordinator will have a chance to further discuss what is bringing you to therapy, your therapeutic goals, your therapeutic history, and answer any questions you may have. The intake coordinator will also help determine the therapist that is right for you and schedule your first appointment.

We are committed to providing personalized and effective therapy services to help you achieve your goals. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We look forward to working with you.

How will I know if it's the "right fit"?

At Knew You Psychotherapy, we understand that seeking support for your mental health is a brave and important step. That's why we start every therapy journey with a 15-20 minute free consultation. This time is dedicated to getting to know you, your needs, and what you hope to gain from therapy.

Our goal is to match you with a therapist who not only has the expertise to help, but also someone you can connect with and feel comfortable opening up to. During your consultation, we will ask you questions about what brings you to therapy, as well as questions that will help us understand your personality. We believe this information is key in helping us find you the right fit. Let's work together to find a therapist who can help you reach your goals and support you on your journey towards healing and growth.
