I often utilize strengths-based approaches and concepts from mindfulness, inner child theory, attachment theory, CBT and EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). My practice is grounded in a holistic approach, acknowledging the mind, body and soul as a whole. We will take the time to name all of the external and internal factors that contribute to your stress and tackle them as you see fit. My style focuses on building your mindset so you have the will and confidence to accomplish your therapeutic goals.
My focus as your therapist will be to support you in discovering healthier coping skills and taking ownership of how you experience life. As a result of working with me, you will have more compassion for yourself and others and you will be able to grow and maintain healthier relationships.
Tiphany is a Licensed Social Worker specializing in trauma. She earned her Master's in Social Welfare with a clinical tract at SUNY Albany, where she honed in on her one-to-one and group therapy skills. Tiphany is a multidimensional professional with a driven interest in personal growth and healing. She is passionate about inspiring people of all ages to walk in their truth and live the life they truly desire. Utilizing a holistic and strengths based approach, she guides individuals toward acknowledging their life experiences while healing their own needs with intention. During her time as a Founding School Social Worker, Tiphany was able to work with students, faculty and families to encourage a better quality of life through making healthy choices.Tiphany also recognizes the significant link between nutrition and quality of life and she aspires to play a role in encouraging others to honor the connection.

More than just my work:
I am a self-taught digital artist. I use art to heal my soul. Self expression is important to me and words don’t always fully capture the feeling. I feel most at peace when I am surrounded by nature simply listening to the sounds around me. I am at my best when I am eating nutritious foods, moving my body and spending time with my loved ones.
