It is my goal to provide individuals with a warm empathetic environment that allows them to freely express themselves and allows for a safe space to have their voices heard. As humans, we have many different emotions; but sometimes we’re unsure how to manage them. Together, we will identify what those emotions look like for you and how to manage them; we always want to embrace, accept, and never avoid.
Therapy can be an overwhelming but rewarding experience. I want to assure you, that you are not alone. I will be on this journey with you to help accomplish the personal and/or professional goals that you have set for yourself.

Experience:
Renita is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in English at CUNY Lehman College. She then worked and completed her internship as a Case Planner and Facilitator for a Non-Profit Organization to help individuals build the necessary skills to provide an emotionally and mentally stable home. During this time, she completed her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counselor at Pace University. At Pace University, Renita performed research into bereavement, depression, suicide, anxiety and trauma with all ages. Renita’s education and clinical experience allows her to provide the necessary care, guidance and support to children, adolescents and adults of all ages. Her experience in the mental health field allows her to provide effective care to patients with a range of challenges by utilizing strength-based clinical interventions.
